Regression is very consistent: with 3.8.0-23 WPA enterprise auth always
works, and with 3.8.0-24 it always fails. No other changes to system
other than booting the two different kernels.
(Wifi works OK with kernel 3.8.0-24 on my home network, using simple WPA
with shared key AES encryption.)

Played around with various combinations of the iwlwifi module parameters
'5ghz_disable=1', '11n_disable=1' and 'swcrypto=1' using kernel 3.8.0-24
without any success. The -23 kernel continues to work fine (no special

image-3.8.0-21-generic, and the accompanying changelog mentions nothing

There is a gvfsd-http process that has lots of stale outgoing TCP
connections in CLOSE-WAIT-state. All connections have some data in the

changing directory to /usr/bin before launching the apport-command works

mozillateam Firefox PPA package adds an entry to /etc/apport/native-
origins.d, which in turn triggers what looks like a trivial bug in
/usr/share/pyshared/apport/packaging_impl.py.

scheduling issue ? However, the Maverick 2.6.35 kernel backported to
Lucid seems fine (provided one uses the "acpi=nonvs" workaround to

Touchpad only works in very basic mode on Dell E6510 (BIOS A03), Ubuntu
