Yes i have installed both "firefox-gnome-support" and
"firefox-3.0-gnome-support".
This is not only about mainmenu font but also affects toolbar and context menu
fonts. Look closer and try to compary with firefox2. On firefox2 it looks nice.

Yes, problem still occurs in Intrepid final.
However, I do not know if it occurs in the latest git/2.6.28-rc kernels, as I
believe they use an updated wireless stack that support later firmwares. That
being the case, I also don't know if later firmwares still exhibit the same
problem.

Hi,
When you upgrade from Hardy to Intrepid and your xchat preferences are
maintained, the location of the sound files becomes incorrect (i.e. the
sounds are missing). This causes xchat to issue pop up alerts everytime
a sound event occurs.

Don't remember. Me and clan both had the same problem. I *think* it
was /usr/share/sounds/xchat .. I know it was a subdir in
/usr/share/sounds.

Not on my linux machine at the moment (at work, and the machine is in
standby, wireless internet no less, so no remote) so I can't get a
screenshot. I will do it when I get back.
I can however, say that it's listed as a FireGL 9000 on spec sheets for
my T40p Thinkpad, but shows as a RADEON Mobilit

Alright, here's some screenshots.
The dock ones might not be noticeable, but the ClearWeather screenlet ones are
very clear. Compare to SmoothWeather, right next to it, which doesn't have the
problem.

Installing with the beta CD works fine and is the solution to fix the
broken state of the computer (just ensure you don't format the disks and
that you do assign the drives correctly).

Using EXA RENDER acceleration in the open source radeon driver, on an rv250
(Mobility 9000), certain transparency elements will get artifacts along the
border of the "canvas", for lack of a better word. It's not the border of the
intel model=6stack-digout'.
