Since the update to kubuntu 14.04 the laptop start normally. As soon as
i see the Login Screen the computer goes into standby.
If i open the laptop the computer wakes up again and i can login. After
the login it switches to the two external monitors and i can close the
laptop
Well, that didn't help actually. When restarting pulseaudio it just
multiplies the dummy output device.

I tried to suspend the session and when trying to wake it up it froze.
Ctrl +alt + del did nothing, ctrl+alt + backspace did nothing. I suspect
it is an Nvidia driver issue upon the upgrade from

I saw this but with i2c-3 on a fresh install of version of Oracle VM Server
with the following kernel:

This still applies in 1.6.0_26.
To speed things along I'm attaching a test case. To reproduce the issue.
1. Ensure the "dejavu" font is not installed - ie ensure package "ttf-dejavu"
is not installed.
2. Install "sun-java6-jre" package.
3. Run the attached and open the "serif.png" file it create
I did a fresh install of 11.04 on 9/5/2011 and have all updates
installed. I'm having the same problem with the keyring so I don't
think this bug is fixed.
