Had a need to print from a windows app so having a working cups

Hmm, decided to revisit it and I think I must have made a mistake in the
build as I've done a clean build with an ubuntu 2.6.27 config and can
confirm that the hang on boot is still there.

I have this problem in ibex alpha 6 for a cannon sd850 is, it was fine
previously.
It opens F spot and 2 repeated camera selection dialogs, each with a pair of
IXU950 IS (PTP mode) one on port usb: and done on port usb:005,006.
No combinations of actions will load photos.

I have had a similar problem as the one stated here and would like to
share how I got it solved. My problem was that the graphics card only
could go as hi as 800x600 in resolution although the laptop LCD is
1024x768.
After days of googling and trial and error I discovered that there seems

This seems like a pretty bad bug for no one to look into. Is there a
workaround yet? 8.10 released ages ago, and bluetooth is a pretty
standard technology. Is someone going to look into why this broke
between 8.04 and 8.10? Seems like a lot of stuff broke in 64bit 8.10.

Thanks sjhstorm. Yesterday when I tried to download the patch above,
the link was dead. Today it was alive, and now my webcam is working!

9.04 evloution appears to have removed some of the dialogue options for
connecting a google calendar.
This may be why I can no longer connect to my goggle apps hosted calendars,
mail and contacts work just fine.

After upgrade through 'Update Manager' to 3.0.7 had no homepage in the
browser. Going to 'edit>preferences>main' confirmed that homepage url
was still present. Rebooted system, restarted firefox and still have a
blank page for my homepage.

Cleber,
I used the suggestion from Paul and my modem still works fine as before.
I don't use network manager anymore, but wicd for my wireless and wired
connections.
UMTSmon is what I use for my mobile broadband connection.
