Same Problem I had when I have installed ubuntu 16.04 first time but after
installing it 3 time I can able to fix it.
In third time I didnt connect to Internet and then I go through installation,

excessive messaging in dmesg
I'm too running on 2 machines without any problem, just check the system
defaults, (uncheck and check if already checked). In keyboard settings.

I have experienced similar freezes in my acer v5 121 with Amd c70
processor. But if I keep the default kernel 3.8.0.19 with Ubuntu 13.04
, there are no freezes, when I updated to 3.8.0.25 , freezes started
occurring in 5-10 minutes after boot.

blank i have screenshot it's from Flickr only and i can upload photos if
i choose ubuntu classic interface so i'm confused whether it's bug of

worked for me too... As human77 said, I kept opened

gwibber by just giving username in Email box instead of giving email-id
at the time of authorizatio

No success yet! As Omer suggested to clear couch database of gwibber, I
did that... Then restarted and added my twitter account again, as there
was no account added because of clearing the couch database... But yet
mine twitter feed in gwibber is fully empty, nothing is displaying and
it's not upda
I've got rid out of this by installing "texlive-base" and other
dependencies (like tex-common, texlive-binaries) get installed
automatically! [the reason behind I'd got this bug when I was installing
a package "ibus-fonts".]

I have been using Lucid for quite sometime now and the this problem
doesn't seem to be occurring with the new gnome-screensaver versions.
