Importance
I tried to uploaded it to REVU a while ago as requested. I can't see
that it has shown up. Please note that this is an updated version and
not a new package. Does REVU block updates to packages already in
Ubuntu? In that case I can upload it somewhere else.
By the way, am I correct to assume that
dering if you could
do the merge if/when you upload the package to the archive. (In case
you had access to the archive but not the branch) Based on your reply
I guess the answer is that you can.
Thank you for your patience!

Not sure if I understand what you meant here. Please explain. If you
mean from bazaar: I don't think "open tree for development" belong in
the debian changelog when it's closed again. (See

So the package follow policy? The CDBS magic takes care of it? Cool. Done.
Thank you very much for your help!

It would be nice if Grub2 could load bootable cdroms from it's menu.

if the support from the Summer of code project 2007 still can be used
with newer versions of GRUB 2.

Yesterday I upgraded to Karmic. Karmic uses KMS. When I rebooted kdm had
huge fonts. KDE also had huge fonts, and Firefox had huge fonts and so
huge graphics that only the three first buttons on the navigation tool
bar was visible
What I find interesting here is this sequenze from /var/log/Xorg.0.log:

(...)
(==) intel(0): DPI set to (96, 96)

To me it seems (from the sequence above) like it reads from EDID,
understand that it's wrong when calculating the dpi but somehow forgets
it when KMS is started. Could someone more experienced with this than my
hours of googeling if I'm on the right track?

Karmic regresion: Huge fonts with KMS
Another reason to think the problem is in KMS is that this only happens
when KMS is used. With KMS disabled (when nomodeset is passed as an
argument to linux from the boot loader) the fonts are normal.
