You can activate the option "Support msn groups friendly names" under
Connection, on the Preferences panel. I think this should be enabled by
default anyway. Regarding the commands problem, you must use a double
slash, telling emesene that you actually want to send that to the chat
window.
I also noticed this bug when I installed the latest Lucid in my eeepc
1000he.
Checking linux mainline, I saw that they updated the driver with almost
40 patches, but the main important one was the update from vendor's
V2.1.0.0 driver, that could possible fix this issue.

successfully by checking the "lsmod" output.
Also, "dmesg" should say something when loading the driver.

same here. I'm using 32bit Lucid stable release.
The problem only occurs for the internal microphone. Setting the sound input as
Microphone 3 and plug in a external mic works well.
With the earlier releases I had to check mic boost or the recording volume
wouldn't be loud enough for Voip call

Even without "quiet" and with "--verbose", all the info on screen is still
lacking for a server.
I think that it would be much better to show the "Starting web server
[OK]" (like on Karmic) than not showing anything
Btw, if I start the scripts on the tty I can see the verbose output.
So, it's not like the scripts don't print the information anymore.

I experienced this problem too on Ubuntu karmic installed via WUBI. Behaviour
on my system is consistent with comment #47 by
Mark Abene. I was able to boot my system using these commands on the grub shell:
sh:grub>linux /boot/vmlinuz-2.6.31-19-generic root=/dev/sda1
loop=/ubuntu/disks/root.disk
Kernel 2.6.31-14 also fails to boot. Any tips on how can I get my ubuntu
booting again?

Okay, the proposed lupin package did not completely break my system, it
was a USB mouse I have that makes ubuntu not to boot when connected,
sorry about that.
However, I can confirm, that the proposed package per-se won't fix a
system in this state, I have to continue booting by usingthe
aforement
g easily to improve synchronization of Ubuntu
packages from the Debian ones? Report a bug at launchpad for example?
Or is there any other method already established?

After opening more than one window/tab the accents stop working only on
the first window/tab. The keyboard is set to Brazilian ABNT2 and the

In this moment i use the x86 version.
But i have a big problem for configure the 3G modem network (model Huawei
E169).
The system do not recognize the USB pen and modem.
