Hi Nemes!
I have uninstalled listen, and it has uninstalled perfectly. Then, I've
reinstalled it, and it still works fine.
So, if the problem was in the old config, I think we can't do anything.
Just, we could use a different config folder (as .listen-0.5), but I
think that's not a good idea. And

I have my wired set up as dhcp, and happen also to me. However, I can
click on the NM icon and select "Wired Network". Then it will connect to
the wired network, and leave the wireless.

I would bet that's a compiz issue, and not a desktop-effects one.
Could you run compiz from the terminal, instead of from desktop-effects,
and see what happens?
Can anybody else tell wether this is a desktop-effects or a compiz one?
