I looked and update-initramfs. It can be adapted to call dracut instead
of mkinitramfs easily. So I decided to go with that approach for a
smooth transition. Then initramfs-tools and dracut have the same logic
for their postinst script.
We can move to kernel-install later.

Recently I put my Laptop into sleep mode like normal and later tried to wake it
up but the machine was unresponsive.
Interestingly opening the tty still worked (the second time it happened I
pressed ctrl+f1 immediately after I noticed the freeze) but as soon as I

I figured out that my suggestion #4 (change arch:arm64 -> arch:all). The
package does not ship arch-dependent files, but it carries an arch-
dependent chain of dependencies, which leads to "unsatisfiable
dependency" issues during migration:

OK THIS problem is fixed, using new installer w old ISO installer starts
ok but crashes later. Will retry with new ISO.
