or USB drive? Does the freeze happen after every reboot or only the very
first time?

I suppose I found a super simple solution by chance. Just ran
sudo apt update && sudo apt upgrade -y
There were 3 repositories returning errors in my case. Such as,
E: The repository 'cdrom://Ubuntu 20.04 LTS _Focal Fossa_ - Release amd64
(20200423) focal Release' does not have a Release file.

It should be for intel gpu based machines. For nvidia and amd we need to
wait until community will upstream corresponding part to nouveau and
amdgpu xserver DDX drivers.

Hi Juergh,
This freezing happens just after any boot (or reboot), only once. All
other windows (tasks) freezes for up to 5 seconds, even System Monitor
freezes too. If I boot my desktop or notebook 5 times a day it will
freeze 1 time per boot on each equipament, only the first terminal
session.
