I performed a test with linux-image-5.6.0-1007-oem from focal-proposed.
The brightness control works without problem on that version. So the

my most recent attachment #11 is from a failed boot.
When it gets stuck, I get no keyboard response from Esc, ctrl-C. I don't think
it is possible to log in to virtual terminals at this point in the boot, but if
I try, I can get to a blank screen, which after a few seconds jumps bac
