I just upgraded my BIOS to 304 version and now it's working as expected. I
could upgrade the linux kernel
to the latest version provided by Fedora repository and reboot in a normal way.
I have also tested with Ubuntu 19.04 live usb and now it is working as
expected. So I have installed
I can't reproduce this on Eoan, so I believe this problem is fixed. In
particular, since the init.d handling was overhauled when systemd was
introduced, it is likely that the code responsible has completely
changed and this bug no longer exists. I'm marking as Fix Released

Disappointing that 9 years on this is still an issue. If I have A2DP
Sink selected I have no Mic option, and if I use HSP/HFP the audio
quality sounds like it's being played down a 14.4K modem; you might as
well not have audio as it's just going to cause your ears to bleed.

I installed cosmic on power9 (boston) a non-nvme system, installed
initramfs-tools from -proposed and install kdump-tools. Triggered a
dump, but I got a kernel panic. Please let me know if I am doing
something wrong here.

- Checked to make sure waagent was running and that the /var/log/waagent.log
was error-free
- Rebooted the VM and confirmed that waagent was still running and log was
error-free
