To the previous post: the complaint about the zip folder was my bad, I
did not download the original sources again for 20170501-4. After that,
I managed to rebuild, although at a number of places, the build was
waiting for an enter. Rather weird.

I think it's different. Seems to be a gnome-shell issue according to the
very limited log.

I've seen this happen a couple of times. Running snap-discard-ns seems
to resolve it.
There seems to be relatively regular posts about people running into
this and sadly the advice is usually to replace the snap with the deb.

@Timothy - whatever you have seems to be a different issue, please open
a new bug for it or as it seems to be more a support request than a bug
go to community pages like e.g. askubuntu.com with your issue.

Just briefly wanted to say that this is one we've discussed at
length -- we may not be able to get someone who has the right
NIC to test with it in time.
I'm sanity checking the kernel, but that is not exercising the
key change here.
If we could assume verification-done for our purposes here,
This temporary queue (Kyocera_ECOSYS_P6026cdn) is actually not needed
here. Therefore I have reported this upstream issue on CUPS:
https://github.com/apple/cups/issues/5546
But anyhow, the GUIs need to correctly support temporary print queues of
CUPS.

Per former comment (almost) tested as requested.
*sigh*
The PPA content really is identical to the content in proposed, given how long
this took I'm not going to re-request this test and hope that will also be
sufficient in the SRU teams POV.
