I think it didn't happen on older kernel because the report size 192 >
128 so the code bailed early.

@Steve I opened this bug because the description on bug #1815002 focuses on
Btrfs not being writable for the /boot partition.
My /boot partition is ext4 using LVM, not Btrfs. My /boot/efi partition is vfat
I will give that a shot and report back. Should the implement function

Any news on this issue? The suggested workaround, which is to modify the
timeout is not even a workaround. It will indeed shorten the boot time, but in
case of any errors or interruption to booting, I won't be able to see the GRUB
menu on next boot.
