I just solved this issue by installing Ubuntu like normal, ignoring the
warning that the installation progress failed and then used the boot-
repair tool of Ubuntu, so I'm not able to run this with the failed
presets any more.

two situations, but it never actually lists those two situations. I
*think* (but without already knowing of course I can't be sure) that
it's meant to refer to a list of three headings, “BISECTING: A MERGE

In my testing, the flash will usually work until/unless I open the
camera app, and then it stops working for the rest of the boot. uTorch
works fine each boot until after the camera app has been used.

libpam-systemd package, or dpkg failed because of a disk/memory error?

So the swap partition looks fine -- it exists in the kernel and in /dev
/disk-by-uuid/, and /etc/fstab refers to the correct device.
But it indeed seems that the kernel has some difficulty with detecting
it:
