Right, no need to further debug timeout/adt-run bad interactions indeed.
The initial need was to make sure adt-run will always timeout. If we

Public bug reported:
I've just ran an update+dist-upgrade which pulled 7.4.4-1ubuntu2.5. It's
sat there doing nothing. CTRL+C won't kill it. Htop shows that the last
process to be created is "stop rsyslog" which follows "invoke-rc.d
rsyslog restart".
dpkg.log:
2015-02-02 09:39:10 configure rsysl
OK, i do this things but when i booted on AMD Graphic Card I use
proprietary driver which I read probably don't work on upstream kernel.
I first do a backup :)

Bugs,
Sure, that works for me.
** Description changed:
It would be extremely useful for apps providing infographics if a pass
through function for tagging existed in i18n.
e.g. i18n.tag("my string to extract but not translate")
- This would be the equivalent of the N_ function, but for QML.
on my system the following command was required to update gvfs without
removing dependent programs:
sudo apt-get install gvfs/utopic-proposed gvfs-daemons/utopic-proposed
gvfs-libs/utopic-proposed gvfs-common/utopic-proposed gvfs:i386/utopic-
proposed gvfs-libs:i386/utopic-proposed gvfs-backends/u
Perhaps we could name it i18n.noop() to follow the gettext convention?
It seems N_ is generally an alias to the gettext_noop macro [1]:
#define N_(String) gettext_noop (String)

Apparently this bug is also present in Debian. In my case the corrupted
image was a windows one. When I run qemu-img check over it it will
complain about lots of clusters, and if I pass it the repair flag, then
it will end up crashing with the following message:
$ qemu-img check -r all windows.im
