I have two screens, and sometimes on one of the screens mouse cursor
gets corrupted. So far always vertically in 5 slices. The corrupt cursor
is always in the primary screen. The cursor is fine on the second
screen. If I take a screenshot (using the screenshot application on
I'm not sure about DKMS, but if you don't have any special kernel modules
like Virtualbox or proprietary NVIDIA drivers, you should be okay. No new
entry should appear in grub.

Excellent. So far no problems then. I do run virtualbox but "sudo
/etc/init.d/vboxdrv setup" seemed sufficient to get that working again.
