Goddammit sorry, I found the reason for all this trouble. It hasn't todo
with ubuntu or the kernel at all. It is an dual boot windows 8.1 issue.
Because windows 8.1 doesn't shutdown properly, instead it goes into some
kind of hybrid shutdown state. The firmware file is already loaded into

This problem annoying because, it me is prevented from activating pilot
owner INTEL for my graphic card. I must use the order: sudo update-
initramfs - U so that he takes into account kvm_intel. And it is there
that I obtain, the error message indicated higher.

Broken pipelline when c
The fragments you can see after the greeter exits and the session starts is the
root-pixmap, which is shown so that there's no flickering until (in Xubuntu's
case) xfdesktop/xfwm4 starts.
However, in the case of nouveau, it doesn't seem to make matters any better.
The greeter bug is fixed then,

Ok this patch has hit all of our upstream stable trees and will hit the
various kernels in the next SRU cycle. Note that this is not the next
kernel which will hit the archive for all releases, for precise it is
included in that very next kernel, other releases it will be the
following kernel.
