Tested the kernel without headers briefly, did not seem to improve.
The device had stayed /dev/lcd1 for a while with the old kernel, and I would
have expected it would change to /dev/lcd0 stable with the new kernel but it
did not. It remained as /dev/lcd1 after the first boot. Not conclusive, but
I will give it a try once more over the weekend.

choosing ext2 for /home gives errors
Okay so I think I mostly have a handle on the issue.
The hardware problem is caused by the cpu running the sound card driver
entering the c6 idle state. Anecdotally the card does not appear to be
able to handle the latency involved in waking from that state.
Currently, both intel_idle and acpi_idl
I believe this was caused by the installer auto mounting the swap
partition, which kept the disk busy. This was fixed several years ago
since libparted no longer fails when an unrelated partition is in use.

Well, 3.12.7 and 3.12.6 work fine with DPM on Radeon HD 6800s. Only
kernel 3.13s are broken with DPM on Radeon HD 6800s. My Radeon HD 7950
works fine with DPM on kernel 3.13. I've never bisected anything before
and don't have the time to do it at the moment.

I have not experienced this issue since updating to 13.10, I apologize for not
updating this report to reflect that.
That said, I will still grab the latest image sometime this weekend just to
confirm that this bug is squashed.

Honestly, I'm a little surprised to see activity on this 4 year old
Jaunty bug. I don't think it's worth our time to worry about this
particular report. I will close it.

Well, I created the bug here because xorg-edgers doesn't have an own bugtracker
and that is the reccommended procedure according to their ppa...
It's also why I added Rico Tzschichholz to the notify list - he was the one
that uploaded the update that started the issues for me.

To reproduce
1 - Dialer app is open, dash is in focus
2 - Phone is suspended
3 - Incoming call is answered
Expected Result
The active call screen is displayed
Actual result:
The greeter screen is still displayed
Manually dismissing the greeter and dash is sho
Occurred when sending a message in Firefox and the mouse was floating
over the window which was disappearing.
