question as my primary system since I cannot get the Broadcom drivers
working on 3.7, 3.9, or 3.10, and cannot switch the wireless card as the
system halts due to it requiring with no questions this particular model

am not sure it needs it now. The issue is quite simple: wl spams the

I changed in the file /etc/init/lightdm.conf the line
stop on runlevel [016]

stop on runlevel [06]
Now lightdm automatically starts after booting. But I haven't tested the

it does, or does not, work. It is *NOT* about the b43, broadcom-sta, or

I tested the mainline kernel. The most recent commit that I tested was
e8193ce572f0ddb8004acf976bba119f0abbe6ca which is after 3.10-rc4.
