I am unable to reproduce this error on my computer where it originally
occurred as I have now upgraded to Raring to fix my frequent GPU hangs
in Quantal.
Regarding the workaround posted by the bug reporter, that workaround did
not work for me :(.

I disabled Firebug, problem fixed. I enabled it again, the problem is still
fixed (it's great that we don't have to restart the browser anymore to do that).

layout activated. Only the graphical login worked always with US
keyboard layout. I tried also XDM as graphical login screen, but it was
