it is trying to log too much and you'll need to reduce the amount of

You appear to be installing Ubuntu to /dev/sdb, but trying to install
grub on /dev/sda, which has no partitions. If you really want to boot
from that drive, you will need to create a partition on it, otherwise
you should just install grub on /dev/sdb with the rest of the system and
make sure your
