Again, putting a drive to 'sleep' is NOT correct fix!
You have to REMOVE POWER first, to *safely* remove/disconnect a USB
drive.
That is what Safely Remove did in older versions of Ubuntu.

Hi,
Is there any update to this crash problem? I am still experiencing the
issue of chromium crashing with no error report. In the previous post on
the 9th of September it was said that something would be happening
within 8-10 days. I am keeping my system upto date but maybe im not

I found this error was created by an errant URL in a call to xhrGet. By
correcting the URL the error was resolved. In Chrome, the error was better
identified in the response showing the errant URL. In my case, I'd embedded an
undefined value in the URL request by mistake like this:

I've experiences this same bug for several years on Windows, Linux, and
OS X. I filed a bug report

Except that...my Logitech webcam no longer appears as an audio input
option in sound settings after a reboot. It does appear if I unplug and
replug the webcam. So it boots but to use Skype still requires manual
intervention.

not recognized by the system, even with the rt2800usb driver preloaded
with modprobe.

There is a problem with the german mirror servers.
They have not mirrored all Ubuntu13.04 packages for universe, so in
consequence when somebody upgrade from there s/he will get a Ubuntu12.10
/Ubuntu13.04 mixed system.
I close this here as invalid, because it happends with tracker0.14.1

Installing 12.04 on a Fujitsu Primery TX100 S3 (with hardware RAID1).
Grub-install /dev/mapper error. It proposed me to select other devices but it
failed in every one.
After few tries it ubiquity crashed and prompted to open a bug.

i have checked it with the livecd from which i installed it. but it is
not cd but usb flash drive. it has rememebered some my installation
parameters. may be for that it loads with russian language. and it is
also buggy. ctrl+alt+f1 console in livecd has only russian keyboard
layoout enabled. alt+s
