This started to bug me since a few days. When I look up previous
commands in the terminal, they do not get refreshed. I have to move the
cursor from the left to the right to see what the command is.

Hi,
Today, I think after running “unity –replace”, I have the same trouble as
describe by Raphael Camus. In my case, it was not even necessary to delete the
~/.local/share/applications folder, deleting the metacity.desktop file was
sufficient.

version 3.2.0-29 everything works fine.

I can confirm the original problem is occurring in 0.48 on Mac OSX. I
see no entry for the SVG Pixbuf importer in
/Applications/Inkscape.app/Contents/Resources/etc/gtk-2.0/gdk-
pixbuf.loaders which would seem to be the most likely culprit.

I have just tried again with 3.2.0-29, first disabling the Broadcom
driver with jockey. I now get the oops in an untainted kernel - this
suggests it is indeed something about the Ubuntu variant.
Realistically, is anyone looking into this problem or going to look into
this problem? I need to know w
I've added Oil's PPA and can't seem to get the debs installed - the
current version of compiz is now the same as Oil's PPA version - so no
change.
Is there a workaround?

The new libreoffice upload is causing this. It updates its menubar once
per second, which it does by completely removing and readding all menu
items and actions. The resulting thrash is what causes the panel to use
100%.

3.5.0-11, despite it being enabled in the mouse preferences. If I boot
in to the 3.5.0-10 kernel, then edge scrolling works as normal again
