MusicBrainz database. I suspect the problem is that both CDs have
"unusual" file/partition layouts.

I can confirm this bug in 12.04.1 on a Dell E4310.
I have added options psmouse proto=imps to a self created file
/etc/modprobe.d/touchpad.conf and now touchpad works.
Except that touchpad is not visible in settings, and when mouse touches left
side of screen the launcher-bar is not visible. It
