I've been able to upgrade apt-cacher-ng using "precise" package deb , I
installed apt-cacher-ng and liblzma5 deb and now it's working , it seems
that the problem disappeared. I think that apt-cacher-ng needs to be
upgraded also in oneiric.

It looks like apport worked.
Just for context, I started up laptop this morning to do something
quickly. Can't remember what I was running when I last shut down.
In the past few days, the laptop has been running fine. This is the
first event since I got the email asking me to run apport. I start

Power consumption raised significantly
This issue concerns useability of Unity with a major office application.
I suggest it should receive greater attention, as this issue should
certainly not persist in the LTS 12.04 release.
