Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: lightdm
lightdm-greeter-example-python-gtk has no dependencies, only a
recommendation on lightdm. This seems wrong; at the very least, surely
there must be some Python packages it needs to depend on.
** Affects: lightdm (Ubuntu)
Importance: Undecid
** Changed in: empathy

Public bug reported:
When using the internal microphone on my SONY VAIO laptop running Ubuntu
Natty I get a loud noise. Adding "options snd-hda-intel position_fix=2"
to the file /etc/modprobe.d/alsa-base.conf solves the problem. However
it would be nice if the mic worked with the default settings.
