I have the same problem in Natty. Pressing Ctrl+H or using the menu has
no result (except the "check" sign toggling next to the menu item).

Are you sure? The launcher un-hides if I have a dropdown menu open.
However, it doesn't work when a context menu is open. That is not
consistent.

Me too, this machine has had 9.04, 9.10, 10.04 & 10.10 all with the
wireless working, and now in Natty it doesn't work. Here's the output
from the apt-get line when I attempted to reinstall the drivers just in
case.
sudo apt-get install firmware-b43-installer

Problem affects me as well. However removing myspell-en-za or removing
the dict-file isn't working. Is there any way to see which dict is doing
this?

thanks for reassigning/sorting the bug metadata. I was trying to assign
it to "mousetweaks unity" but seemed unable to do so (probably because
it was assigned already to unity (ubuntu) - no doubt user error ;-) .
