Same problem here, also using an intel video card, in this case a
gma4500. Unlike you I use openbox with xcompmgr. It does seem to be

to be a "regular" (non-security) bug. I have unmarked it as a security
issue since this bug does not show evidence of allowing attackers to

So, when emacs first opens and maximizes this is the case.

I recently set up Ubuntu on a new computer and came across this problem
again. I only noticed it after installing Dropbox, so this reinforces
my suspicion that Dropbox has something to do with it. Additionally,
Dropbox seems to drag on Nautilus.
Does anyone know of a good alternative to Dropbox

Had this 2 minutes ago - went away for 3 minutes came back and by the
moment I wanted to touch the mouse or keyboard it flickered shortly and
