I have the exact same problem as Rajidner Sandhu with NVidia GeForce4 MX4000.
Desktop doesn´t work, my shortcuts disappeared but everything else from panels

Conjucts like rendered incorrectly in
I'm still new to etckeeper, so please bear with me if I'm just simply
misunderstanding.
My /etc is under git control. I thought I should be able to make
commits straight via git as well. If I change a file under /etc and
then do "git commit $file" .etckeeper will show up under the "# Changed

necessarly at the first try.
Maybe you have to go back by some songs, but at a certain point you
won't be able to go back again unless you rapidly hit the button.

Yes, it's Russian. Archive is not corrupt. I've cleared
/var/lib/dpkg/updates after copying process ended. Than sudo apt-get
update&& sudo apt-get dist-upgrade went fine. So I think it's
misunderstanding between copy process and dpkg .

I can comment on the version mess.
Technically it's a native package that was developed several years ago.
There was one version and all releases were made by Michael Vogt. Later
on I started hacking and "releasing" versions that were not published in
Ubuntu. Then there was a failed 0.3 branch tha
I just installed 9.10 and then performed a distribution upgrade to 10.04
my only internet access being an E620 modem.
The Modem is recognised in Karmic allowing the packages for the upgrade to be
installed.
However at some point in the upgrade the modem is only recognised as a mass
storage devic
If you get an error on execstack being not found, prepending sudo to the
above command worked for me.

So I had a brainwave-- the bug report links to the apparently very
simple fix which ended up being used in GCC. It's just replacing one
block of code in one file. (Here's the diff:

The update shows the following results on my Dell mini:
At resolution 160x120:
- Pause of about 4s where no video is displayed
- Between 4-7s erratic frame rate
- 7s+ reliable video
At 1280x1024
- Occasionally frame shown (>15s per frame)
It seems an improvement on the 14s delay previously seen.

I gave up rebuilding the kernel without the loop module and started
using dm-crypt.
"cryptsetup -c aes-xts-plain -s 512" is similar featurewise to loop-aes.
