version 0.5 of MLT is now available.
Its recommended for kdenlive 0.7.7 and should be updated in the lucid
repository as well.
The only other mlt dependent package that I know of is openshot. Openshot uses
the same version of mlt as kdenlive.

I confirmed this on Karmic. Once the inhibit is removed, if no
keyboard/mouse activity resets the idle timer, the screensaver never
comes back up.
Uninhibiting should probably reset the idle timer.

Here is the output from today's Update.. I was originally going to post
this yesterday, but copy/paste didn't grab it and I had closed the
window. I *think* it has the same information as the previous post,
just less verbose.
E: postfix: subprocess installed post-installation script returned err
Or maybe python package should "provide" python-xml...

LTS???... Ridiculous!
PS: At boot ubuntu show:
[..] intel_rng: FWH not detected
[..] iTCO_wdt: failed to reset NO_REBOOT flag, reboot disabled by hardware
Is this the cause?
However it is difficult to diagnose ...

- And yes, it is a multi-core machine and both cores were running. I'm
not sure if the fan was running, however, since my laptop was running a
bit warm.
