I'm having the same issue since upgrading to firefox-3.5. Karmic x86_64
with the same versions of firefox-3.5 and xulrunner-1.9.1 but with
swfdec-mozilla (0.8.2-1ubuntu1) instead of flashplugin. As mentioned
above, "firefox --sync" makes it harder to trigger the crash.

i can confirm this annoying behaviour in karmic64bit.
for some reason sreadahead keeps popping up after every reboot with 100%cpu for
10+ seconds. quite a nuisance.
(and yes, this wasn't the case before readahead was replaced by
sreadahead)

previously assumed by the fast-user-switcher.

empathy frontend (or something). After I opened the programme and it
crashed today, someone sent me an IM about an hour later, my empathy

the Gnome Keyboard Preferences (Menu System -> Preferences -> Keyboard)
has a Keyboard Layout Options page, which offers 10 different ways to
treat the caps lock key.
Unfortunately, an option to completely turn that annoying capslock off
is missing.

I managed to start gnome components manually from an xterm (gnome-
session, gnome-panel, metacity, nautilus) so it seems it works this way

Hi there, has this bug been resolved now? I see you're using an Intel
card - have you tried using a Karmic LiveCD to see if this problem still
exists? Karmic uses the latest linux kernel which has had a lot of Intel
work done to it, which might help your cause. Good luck!
