In Debian the favicon is included in the package just as expected.
You changed *.ico to favicon.ico. *.ico of course matches favicon.ico aswell.
If the favicon was indeed missing then maybe a rebuild has solved it, but I do
not see how this patch is useful.

output). For me it stopped crashing when I added the "dri" module to the

I recently installed 2 fresh systems with kubuntu 7.04 and enabled the
feisty-commercial repository.
The first one installed succesfully using adept_manager, the second install was
done using the command line without any problems.
I'm now deleting the vmware-server kernel modules and reinstallin

Before restart, /dev/null was 666.
Now when it is 600, when i shut down and boot livecd, after mounting my root
partition in /mnt i find that

I was having a similar problem too (the "booting" issue, not the "USB
keyboard" issue). It turned out to be a race condition within the
"init" script the system was running on boot. The "md" weren't getting
built quick enough before the boot process tried to use them.
Here is what I did:

I have the same problem as of a few days ago (as of 8.7.2007). My laptop
is running Ubuntu Dapper and I have an external PCMCIA Belkin wirless
cards (Ralink rt2500). I can get wirless to work, but after a few
seconds spent on the internet, wirless stops working and the cpu load
goes up to 100%. Loo
BTW: https://help.ubuntu.com/community/NvNetInstallation explains hot to
compile nvnet, but also how to not have to recompile it for each kernel
upgrade (if I understand). But seems to never been updated for post-Dapper.
