Furthermore this thread looks important. Basically 0.8.0 and 0.8.1 is
already broken under kernel 2.6.20. The version in cvs is required now.
So until the new release of lirc is made, lirc_mceusb2 will be broken
for fiesty.

I certainly don't mind testing a different version. It's just that I
haven't been able to reproduce the problem. I restarted KTorrent, and
it continued where it left off (finally, something that handles crashes
well), and has been stable ever since.
Sorry. :/

I got the same thing installing Ubuntu EdgyEft on Virtual PC 2004 hosted

When the Ubuntu installation is finished it has the wrong graphics mode

I confirm that the two lines given in the script from beryl-project's
wiki correct this issue. It seems finally that it came from incomplete
howto and not from a bug in Xgl.
I just noticed that the French wiki was already modified to include
those lines, but it seems absent from in wiki.ubuntu.com

Check out this page:

Konqueror prints it just fine. But when I print it with Firefox, it
sorta runs off the end of one page. That is, it prints to the margin
limit of the printer on one page

I can confirm this and it is a known issue with the Madwifi drivers.
Robert Love posted a workaround for this and Network-Manager here:

list/2006-January/msg00141.html
The second patch he posts works as of 0.6.4
Dan Williams is hesitant to put patch
I confirmed it since this is a known issue upstream, see my post below.
If this was inappropriate please let me know.
Thanks!

It seems I can't reproduce the bug anymore. Maybe a recent update fixed
it. I don't normally run 16 bit (was only doing so to try see if a game
would run better), so I wouldn't have noticed when it got fixed.
