Yes, it hangs for every pdf, ps, djvu files I have used. It started
hanging after update few days ago. I downloaded 0.7.0 version from the
librarian, and it also hangs. evince-gtk does not hang.
The program does not crash, so there was no backtrace. I have attached
the file created in the gdb sess

I had that package installed. After deinstalling it, the file does not
play at all. totem gives the message there is no suitable decoder for
that file.
How do I create that »non-stripped« crash file? apport only gives me two

which version of cryptsetup do you use? the latest upload
(2:1.0.4-8ubuntu2) should just disable usplash when asking a password
and therefore work fine for you. Please confirm.

I can confirm this: CODENAME must be "feisty" in order for cdromupgrade
to work.

Another problem with trying to load 6.06: when I install via a CD I
can never get beyond the "Keyboard Layout" question. I've tried three
times wth no success.
My next step: attempt to load 5.04 from a CD that I received from
Ubuntu.
