Firefox are crisp and clear. In OpenOffice they are blocky and almost
illegible. This has always been an issue in Edgy, it is not an issue in

Exactly. But at my Windows Vista RC2 with Firefox RC3, if I close it
with open tabs and say "yes" to close all of them. After I open Firefox
again and it ask me to resume my session. That doesn't happen in Edgy
Firefox version.

"BUG: soft lockup detected on CPU#0!", is only a symptom of underlying
problem, that I/we can't figure out without the files I asked before (if
they exist, sometimes /var/log/installer/syslog does not exist, but when
it exist it is the best to figure out problem with installer.

Please use the asoundconf(1) python script to set your default card. It
is resistant to indices changing, which is the entire reason it was
added in Dapper.

Ok I tested it on my edgy (dist-upgraded just before the test) and I get
the same result as with dapper. Green after the modprobes.
What can I do to help? Are there better programs than Ekiga for testing
webcams? I guess there is, but I'm clueless about them. Maybe there are
some commands I could
