Okay, so I've downloaded the Lilypond sources... it requires mftrace to
build.
The binary mftrace package wants tetex instead of texlive, but I can
compile it from source. The problem is runtime: it tries to do "import
afm" (Adobe Font Metrics, according to Google), but I can't find a
suitable AFM

Im using edgy. In dapper i did not have this problem.
Slow means that i need about 3 minutes for a 650mb file instead of 15 seconds
while copying onto a ext3 filesystem or via command line or midnight commander
onto xfs.
And yes, the problem exists when copying via gnomefvs-copy.

did. Although I have 2.6.15.27 running, I still coudn't manage to get the
Kubuntu boot with USB Legacy support enabled. So the answer is yes, it's still
a problem. I'm not sure it has anything to do with kernel, thoug
where/what is the workaround? I don't see it ...

powermanager reports battery low two times: one time as warning and second time
when battery is on critical level (and configured automatic action is
performed).

Hi Martin,
At this point I have not tried to perform an installation on this
particular hardware configuration using either Dapper or Edgy [I'm still
running very happily with Breezy].
However, if I can get some time this weekend I'll give it a go and post
the results back here.

into low power mode when AC plug is pulled off.
For example doing: iwpriv eth1 set_power 7 on my ipw3915 wifi cards
gives me like an extra 20, 30 minutes of battery power on my laptop over
