I don't know how to get the wireless icon up there if you don't have a
wireless card, but I think this is definitely an artwork related bug. I
found the problem icons and for each one when I right clicked them nautilus
could not read the image size information. It should read them as 24x24.

not going to fix this. since this is a very visible and annoying bug in
ubuntu, and since the fix (above) is very simple and has no chance of
breaking anything, i'm sure matt will allow it. i know you guys don't

against it will follow soon. Then we can see if this bug is still

x11-common is hardly "depending on X", it contains no xserver, no
drivers, it's just some common files. It's installed size is 580k.
If the complaint is just that the package has "x11" in the name, I could
always rename it to not have people complain about not wanting X on
their servers. :)

When making the upgrade from Dapper to Edgy, toward the end of the
upgrade I received these errors with regards to python. I also receive
the same error when doing an apt-get dist-upgrade.
If anymore information is needed, please let me know as this is my first

Creating a new file also hangs Gnucash. Applying the patch from

The same keyboard maps are now used for the console and for X, which is
a big win for us because previously, they were always out of sync, and
the X maps are much more descriptive.
Therefore, ubuntu-minimal (as it is intended to provide a functional
console) depends on the keymaps from X (and no o
could you provide easy steps to get the issue? Does it happen if you do that:
- open the calendar
- add a meeting by double clicking on a day
- pick a start hour
- click on the recurrence icon, pick 1 week and select the option saying it
happens every week
- enter a name
- save the meeting
- drag

For some reason I can't set that as upsteam task..
Bug has been fixed on version 1.2.8-5. Syncing package from Debian
unstable (main) should fix this on Edgy.

When the progress bar reaches half on my Dell Dimension 1100, two
horizontal bars alternating black and brown (the colour of the progress
bar) appear and the progress bar does not get refresh anymore.

Sorry if I mislead anyone with my last response, but now that I've looked at
it some more it seems that the applet may just not support scalable icons
which is actually what it's using for the wireless icon. The icons from here
look fine:
