I am running the latest edgy and banshee version 0.10.12-1ubuntu1.
Perhaps there is an update I don't have yet.
Either way - it's actually fixed in this version! (I imagine it is also
fixed in 0.11 but cannot yet confirm this).
I do however still get an error at the command line with this version

Did you replace manually all occurences of hd(0,0), or did you change
the commented value (such as groot=, kopt=), and then run 'sudo update-
grub' ?
If you installed ubuntu on the first partition, and then you moved it,

Public bug reported:
I have not attempted to reproduce this bug under dapper.
Under edgy, it can be reproduced by starting openoffice.org-writer, then
clicking on "Tools", then "Package Manager" and then on "Add". The file
selection dialog appears along side the openoffice crash recover dialog.
I uploaded a new version of anacron into edgy today. If that version
works well we can backport it to dapper.

Public bug reported:
During the Desktop CD Installation, there is lot of people who says that
step 5/6 of installation doesn't work. It seems that the system is
partitioning HDD, but really it is doing nothing.
I think that is graphical environment of gparted.

This was an X bug, since fixed. Not sure what to do about it for
upgrades. Anton (upstream) suggests dropping the xorg.conf inference
code from console-setup.

Ok so this bug is fixed... for the ipod support and 0.11.0 just wait 20
minutes or something and it will be on the mirrors.

Sorry, i forgot to return with the output. Somehow after an upgrade, it
stopped crashing. This bug must have been a duplicate of something else.
So i can confirm that a fix has been released... Just not what :)
