This problem affects all wireless drivers I have tested running using
ndiswrapper in edgy, removing the special case for ndiswrapper and
allowing it to use Wireless extentions directly fixes this problem for
all the systems I have tested it on. This would seem to be a simple two-
line change to fix

I confirm this, and I would also like to add that my monitor display a

I think I found the problem:
If I start KDE apps like Kontact under Gnome - the keyboard focus gets
lost in the systray where I have the KAlarm and KMail icons docked to
systray.
If I quit KAlarm and KMail I can navigate through the panel with the
keyboard without problems.

When maximized window (Opera, GEdit, gFTP...) is moved to another screen
(with ctrl + alt + shift + left/right), it's position is offset a few
pixels to the left or right (depending on moving direction). After

I run this as en_GB, and also see the issue. So it is likely that any
non-US locale has this problem. Maybe a testing/release plan needs to
be amended to make sure it at least starts up in other locales.
Could something like that be automated? I would be thinking of a script
