I can confirm the (random, not constantly reproducible) crashes with eog 2.14.3-0ubuntu1, running an up-to-date Ubuntu 6.06 LTS. NOTE: I don't use the slideshow feature, but always view the pictures in fulscreen mode. The crash happens sometimes when I exit the fullscreen mode via the ESC button.
