m35x-S109) where Linux is not able to get battery information. In other
words, /proc/acpi reports battery as "present: no" whenever the AC is
unplugged, but "present: yes" with no further charge state info whe

and newer nginx on backand.
It don't appear then connecting directrly to a newer one on localhost.

through the configuration of X was flawless and without erro

Rhythmbox 0.9.3.1 on Dapper. I play only local files (mp3s some ogg)
usually, although I do have the DAAP sharing option turned on and there
are a fair amount of people on my network. It stays iconified in the
tray for most of the time.
I will now start Valgrind and hopefully will have something
just a question: can gstreamer handle w32codecs without the pitfdll
package? I cannot try it now because the partition in which I
installed edgy is completely broken.

On the desktop find the Panel, either the one on the top or the bottom
of the Desktop area. Move the cursor to the Panel position you would
like to see that Menu Icon. Now Right click your Mouse, and there will
be a Menu of Icons to pick from. One of them is the Ubuntu Symbol, with

To Install Ubuntu, you need a Minimum of 128 Megs of Ram. During Boot up
the size of the ram is detected, and if it is below the minimum required
Ram size, then Ubuntu will not Install!

No I think it is pretty clear.
/bin/sh was changed to reference /bin/dash.
Well dash doesn't cover all of bashes functions and therefore scripts
break. Much like this one.
If the link in the file is changed to /bin/bash instead of /bin/sh it
will function properly.

I don't know what type of system you have mine isn't the fastest and yet
when apport starts to do its thing it certainly does choke my system. I
end up killing it instead of waiting for it to finish. Next time an
application crashes use top and look at the cpu usage ;)

/.config/xfce/desktop/menu.xml file and restart. I'm a major newbie so

Yes, I got the sound working too. I have a fully functioning Dapper -
sound and fans controlled (except for video that is a bit jerky) -
simply by compiling the 2.6.16-rc5 kernel with the g5_defconfig
configuration.

Hi, I found where you set the settings (settings >> desktop >> behavior)
and I can confirm that the icons disappear/act very funky with the
higher sizes.

Hopefully importance of this bug gets raised a bit. This is still present on
Edgy Knot 2 and makes aptitude upgrade a pain to use.
