I tried this with Dapper-Alternate-6.06.1, and XFS still doesn't work
with GRUB out of the box. 'grub-install' failed.
However, the following strategy did work (on the shell):
#mount -t proc procfs /target/proc
#mount -o bind /dev /target/dev
#chroot /target /bin/bash
#source /etc/profile
# grub
This failed again, full output is in the attachment, however it appears
to be a similar problem to what was encountered before...

Just had my first X lockup in a long time, so it appears that
renderaccel=0 is the solution for me. I've now commented out SWCursor

It was really fixed not before KDE 3.5.3, and thus the fix came too late for
Dapper.
You'll need to upgrade to a newer KDE version (3.5.3 or later) to be able to
create imap folders with kmail when using dovecot.

nonexistant string (I think you wanted argv[1], which would give you the

Using Ubuntu 6.06 Dapper Drake, Evolution 2.6.1 on with K7 kernel.
I too have the same problem I added the contacts using rightclick on the
address in an E-Mail and adding them to the contacts.
None of them appear in the recipients selector, when composing a new
mail.
