I have the same thing on my iBook. Radeon 9550 here, an I *know* it works with
r300. I had it working in another distro (gentoo) with vanilla kernel and xorg
- no special patches. Not sure what's wrong here. maybe drm version is too old ?
What I get in dmesg is:

Found a temp workaround to this problem...
When at the screen, right click the icon on taskbar and click
"UNMaximise" then right click icon again and click "MOVE" this will
allow you to move the screen up so that you can see the prompts at the
bottom.

I have this problem too whenever I try and remove lighttpd. The only
way I could fix it was to add 'exit 0' on a new line in the
/etc/init.d/lighttpd init script after #!/bin/sh ...
And then I had to remove all lighttpd related files manually. Extremely

Well, the crasher was actually parted as it shows on first backtrace.
I built parted 1.7.1-2.1 from Debian unstable, and it doesn't have this
issue. I guess this will eventually go away with Edgy.

I think that this is related to xorg/aiglx. A while ago I found a fix to
stop OpenGL games becoming partly transparent under compiz: eg. export
XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1 && XLIB_SKIP_ARGB_VISUALS=1 blobwars. I'm using
the i810 driver.

This is still present in kubuntu dapper.
kded crashes after suspend to ram - not always, but quiet often. You
have to start kded in order to have kopete klaptop_check etc. working.
