I think it's a bug. I unsubscribed from this madness several weeks ago,
still today I got 12 new emails about the subject. Who would've known
there would be that many people using XFS. Once you unsubscribe the
unsubscribe link disappears (naturually), but you're still in a
subscribed state. Wierd.

The partition setup sees the EFI system partition as well. Should it
really do that, since the Boot Camp beta serves the host OS a legacy
BIOS booting option.

I am sorry you are still having problems, I compiled 2.6.17.1 and now
have 100% success.
Because dapper uses UDEV I plug my palm in, start jpilot, hit the sync
button on my palm then click the sync button on jpilot. I am no expert
but can you post your pilot-link output ?

Yes, the problem is in compiling setup_link with gcc 4.1 and
optimizations enabled. Using another gcc or the -O0 option with gcc 4.1
solves the problem.

It says so at boottime.
udev prints a warning regarding these two lines.
I can't get bootlogd working (tried enabling it in

There is now an install_mp3.sh script in amarok that fixes this bug.

Latest update for linux-image-2.6-386, installed 060718, loks up the box
rather than booting. It barely gets the parameters before doing so.
Frame buffering never happens. This has happened three consecutive
attempts.

Yes I have the version 2.6.1 Evolution. The same thing happens after i
disable the buttons(send). After that, I click the updates and suddenly
the panels in my desktop disappeared.

After deploying ubuntu and this package on another workstation, I

When upgrading from cyrus21-common to cyrus-common-2.2, the cvt_cyrusdb
included in cyrus-common-2.2 fail to convert the deliver.db file created
by cyrus22-common. I believe this may be related to cvt_cyrusdb being
linked to a different version of libdb.

KDE broke for a while as it was being transitioned.
As for the skype bug, i'm assuming it's fixed as well, although i cant
test it.

Found a workaround!
I am facing the same problem. /etc/x11/xorg.conf has only 1 res specified
(1024x768), yet the GDM login screen appears at 1280x1024 since that was the
res. I initially configured Ubuntu with (ubuntu 6.06 LTS).
Used gdmsetup (or System->Administration->Login Window) to switch
