I now restarted the gnome session, switching to a french locale ([EMAIL
PROTECTED]). gcompris still displays descriptions in English.
I switched gcompris's configuration to German (from the tools icon at the
bottom): German text.
Switched back to French: English text.

an insult. I don't think that anybody needs to tell Jerome what free
software is. Furthermore why did you reply at all? The bug is fixed.
The change was done quite late in the dapper release circle and there
was not enough time

Also, if the f-spot screensaver is selected in the gnome-screensaver
window and then another screensaver is selected, both will be running in
the gnome-screensaver preview pane.

Ok. Please try disable NTP time synchronizing, or just disconnect your
pc from internet. Then try to hibernate your computer, maybe your
problem with screenlocking disappear.
