I also suggest you delete any .asoundrc files in your home directory, as
that is preventing audio from working properly.

btw i tried using apport-bug alsa-driver and it says package does not exist.
i have an alsa-driver-lnuxant and the apport-bug command says its a
non-ubuntu package.
