Many users report such ideas as bugs, knowing no other way to reach
developers. The way to reach developers to discuss ideas is to join the
ubuntu-devel-discuss mailing list (see: lists.ubuntu.com for info on all the

Nobody here is saying that sync apps should not exist. We're just saying that
sync app for only one specific platform doesn't need to be part of the default
install. If there was an app that could sync a Palm Pilot, iPhone, G1,
Blackberry, etc all in just one application, that'd make sense to
