System --> Preferences --> Sound (gnome-config)
Audioconferencing:
Sound Playback: Logitech USB Headset USB Audio (OSS)
Sound Capture: Logitech USB Head
My symptoms:could receive inbound calls but not place outbound
My steps to resolve:Recreate configuration fresh for Jaunty
My observation: Possible problem in the upgrade between Intrepid to
Jaunty.
