We only want bugs on packages we distribute. If you've downloaded the
package from Mozilla then you need to give the bug to Mozilla.

When I used the Help --> Report a bug in Thunderbird it directed me to
the bugs.launchpad website. I was not aware until now that you did not
forward them on to Mozilla.
I have submitted the same bug to Mozilla. Thank you for your help.
